COTTERS KENNEL SLED DOG RIDES & TOURS

Your tour starts when we greet you when you arrive. We invite you into our warm home. Get you dress for your adventure. Next, we all go out to the kennel and meet our friendly Alaskan Huskies and take pictures. We will then start to hook up the dogs for the sled dog rides. All our guest will get a chance to drive a ‘’TAG SLED’’.

A guide drives the front sled with a one or two guest. While another guest stands and drives the back sled which is towed behind with a rope. We stop couple times to take a pictures an switch position. Everybody get a chance to ride the tag sled. When we get back to the kennel we put the dogs back to their houses and you can take more pictures and pet the dogs. Then we all go inside in our home and warm up by the wood stove and have hot drinks an snacks. We are not in a big hurry so you can stay as long as you want.

SLED DOG TOURS & PRICES

Half hour Sled dog ride
$99 per person (1 ½ hour tour)
This half hour ride goes through the surrounding wilderness.
We go through the tundra and spruce trees across the small lake.  
This tour is just the right length when it’s very cold.



1 hour sled dog ride
$139 per person ( 2 ½ hour tour).
This hour long sled dog ride goes through the surrounding wilderness and part of the trail is on the original ‘’SERUM RUN TRAIL’’ that goes to Nome, Alaska. The hour long ride gives you the real feel of dog mushing in Alaska.



2 hour sled dog ride
$199 per person. ( 3 ½ hour tour)
If you want more of a real dog mushing adventure this is the tour for you.
The 2 hour trail has more variety spruce forest, tundra and mountain views.
We stop and give dogs a snack and take lots of pictures.
This creates a real memorable dog mushing experience.
